Allowances are generous but not unlimited, and they are applied fairly to everyone. Prices are in Indian rupees (INR) and are one-time payments.
How operations are counted
One job is one operation. Running a tool once counts as one operation, whether the PDF has 1 page or 500.
Merging is one operation, however many files you combine (up to your plan’s merge limit).
Free: previews, page navigation and downloading again a result you already made.
Failed jobs are refunded. If a job fails, the operation goes back to your allowance automatically.
Exporting an edited PDF from the editor is one operation. When Docshar AI sets up several tool steps, each step that runs a tool is one operation.
Daily allowances reset at midnight IST (India Standard Time). The Daily Pass instead has 50 operations to use at any time during its 24 hours.
If you have a pass, it is used first. Your free daily allowance comes next, and Single Use credits are used only for jobs nothing else covers, such as a file bigger than the free limit.
Buying more than one plan
Same pass again: buying a pass of the same kind while one is active extends it. The new pass starts when the current one ends.
Different passes: the higher plan applies while both are active. The other pass keeps running at the same time; passes do not pause.
Credits: Single Use credits stay in your account when a pass ends and expire 365 days after purchase.
Passes start as soon as your payment is verified. They cannot be paused or transferred to another account.
Payment and refunds
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, as offered at checkout). Docshar never sees or stores your card or UPI details. Every plan is a one-time payment with no auto-renewal. If you have not used a purchase, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days; see the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Terms of Use.
Frequently asked questions
Do passes renew automatically?
No. Every Docshar plan is a one-time payment. We never charge you again automatically and there is no subscription to cancel. When a pass ends, your account goes back to the free plan.
Can I use Docshar without paying?
Yes. Without an account you can run 3 operations a day. With a free account you get 10 operations a day. Paid plans are only needed for more operations, bigger files or batch processing.
What counts as an operation?
One run of a tool is one operation, however many pages it has. Merging several files into one PDF is one operation. Previews and downloading a result again are free, and if a job fails the operation is given back.
When does my daily allowance reset?
At midnight India Standard Time (IST). The Daily Pass is different: its 50 operations can be used at any time within its 24 hours.
What happens if I buy a pass while I already have one?
If it is the same kind of pass, the new one starts when the current one ends, so your time is extended. If it is a different pass, the higher plan applies while both are active, and the other keeps running; passes do not pause.
Do Single Use credits expire?
Yes, 365 days after purchase if you do not use them. They do not disappear when a pass ends.
Are my files uploaded when I buy a plan?
No. Paid or free, the PDF tools run in your browser and your files are not uploaded to Docshar’s servers. When you are signed in, we only record facts about each job, such as the tool and the file size and page count, to count your operations.
How can I pay?

Can I get a refund?

Do paid plans include more AI requests?
No. Docshar AI has its own free daily allowance, which is the same on every plan. Paid plans increase the PDF tool limits shown on this page.
