Join several PDFs into a single document. You can also add JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF images, and each image becomes its own page.

How to use Merge PDF

  1. Choose two or more PDF files or images.
  2. Drag the files, or use the up and down arrows, to put them in the order you want.
  3. Add more files if needed.
  4. Click Merge files and download merged.pdf.

What it does

  • Merge PDFs and images (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF) in the same document.
  • Reorder files by dragging or with up and down buttons.
  • All pages from each PDF are added in their original order.
  • Each image is placed on its own page sized to the image.
  • PDF pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable.

Good to know

  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with the Unlock tool.
  • The number and total size of files you can combine at once depends on your plan.
  • JPG, WEBP and GIF images are re-encoded as JPEG, and only the first frame of an animated GIF is used.

Your files and privacy

Files are combined inside your browser and are not uploaded to Docshar's server for processing. If you are signed in, Docshar counts your operations (tool, number of files, sizes and page counts), never the file contents. See the Privacy Policy.

Questions

Can I merge images and PDFs together?

Yes. Add PDF files and JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF images in any mix. Each image becomes one page in the merged PDF.

How do I change the order of the files?

Drag a file in the list to a new position, or use its up and down arrows, before clicking Merge files.

Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?

Merge adds every page of each PDF. To use only some pages, first use Extract Pages or Delete Pages, then merge the results.
