Extract Pages from a PDF

Get a new document containing only the pages you want.

Drop your file here

Pick the pages you want from a PDF and save them as a new document. You can keep them together in one file or get one file per page.

How to use Extract PDF Pages

  1. Choose a PDF file.
  2. Click the page thumbnails you want to keep, or use All, Odd or Even to select pages quickly.
  3. Under Output, choose One PDF or Separate PDFs.
  4. Click Extract pages and download the result. With separate files you can download them one by one or all as a ZIP.

What it does

  • Select pages visually from thumbnails.
  • Save all selected pages in one PDF, or one PDF per selected page.
  • Download several output files together as a ZIP.
  • Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable.
  • Your original file is not changed.

Good to know

  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
  • Pages are saved in their original order; use Organize to reorder them.

Your files and privacy

Pages are extracted inside your browser; your PDF is not uploaded to Docshar's server for processing. If you are signed in, Docshar counts your operations (tool, number of files, sizes and page counts), never the file contents. See the Privacy Policy.

Questions

Can I get each page as its own PDF?

Yes. Choose Separate PDFs under Output. Each selected page becomes its own file, named with its page number.

What is the difference between Extract Pages and Delete Pages?

Extract Pages makes a new PDF from the pages you select. Delete Pages removes the pages you select and keeps the rest.

Does extracting reduce quality?

No. The pages are copied into the new PDF without being converted to images.
