Delete Pages from a PDF

Remove pages from a PDF document.

Drop your file here

Remove pages you do not need from a PDF. You see every page as a thumbnail, click the ones to delete, and save a new copy.

How to use Delete PDF Pages

  1. Choose a PDF file.
  2. Click the page thumbnails you want to remove. Use the All, None, Odd or Even buttons to select many pages at once.
  3. Click Delete pages.
  4. Download the edited PDF.

What it does

  • Thumbnail view of every page so you can see what you are removing.
  • Quick selection buttons for all, none, odd and even pages.
  • Shows how many pages are selected and how many remain after deleting.
  • Keeps the remaining pages as they were, including selectable text.
  • Processing happens in your browser with pdf.js and pdf-lib.

Good to know

  • At least one page must remain; you cannot delete every page.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with the Unlock tool.
  • Works on one PDF at a time.

Your files and privacy

Your PDF is read and edited inside your browser and is not uploaded to Docshar's server for processing. If you are signed in, Docshar counts your operations (tool, number of files, sizes and page counts), never the file contents. See the Privacy Policy.

Questions

Does deleting pages change the rest of my PDF?

No. The pages you keep are copied as they are, so their text, images and layout stay the same.

Can I delete all even or all odd pages?

Yes. Use the Odd or Even button to select those pages in one click, then click Delete pages.

Why does it say my PDF is password-protected?

The tool cannot open encrypted PDFs. Remove the password with the Unlock tool first, then delete pages.
