Rotate PDF Pages

Rotate all pages, or just the ones you pick, by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Lossless: text and images are not changed.

Drop your file here

Turn the pages of a PDF the right way up. Rotate every page, or click page thumbnails to rotate only the ones you choose.

How to use Rotate PDF

  1. Choose or drop your PDF file.
  2. Pick the angle: 90 degrees right, 180 degrees or 90 degrees left.
  3. Keep "All pages", or choose "Selected pages" and click the pages you want to turn. The thumbnails show the result.
  4. Click Rotate PDF and download the rotated file.

What it does

  • Rotate by 90 degrees clockwise, 90 degrees counter-clockwise or 180 degrees.
  • Rotate all pages or only selected pages, with quick All, None, Odd and Even selection buttons.
  • Live thumbnail preview of the rotation before you save.
  • Only the page rotation setting is changed, so text and images are not re-compressed or redrawn.
  • Rotation is added to any rotation the page already has.

Good to know

  • When you process several files at once, every page of each file is rotated; picking single pages works on one file at a time.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with the Unlock PDF tool.

Your files and privacy

Pages are rotated in your browser, and the PDF is not uploaded to Docshar's server. If you are signed in, Docshar counts your operations (tool, number of files, sizes and page counts), never the file contents. See the Privacy Policy.

Questions

Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?

No. The tool changes the rotation setting of each page. The text and images inside the page are not changed.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Choose "Selected pages", click the page you want to turn, then click Rotate PDF. The other pages stay as they are.

Can I rotate several PDFs at once?

Yes, on plans that include batch processing you can select several files. Every page of each file is rotated, and you can download the results as a ZIP.
